The Vocal Awareness Institute, Inc. was founded in 1964 by Arthur Samuel Joseph, who developed, trademarked and copyrighted the Vocal Awareness^® method of achieving personal empowerment and life mastery through voice.

The Vocal Awareness^® process employs the methodologies developed from Arthur Samuel Joseph’s over four decades of research of the physical, emotional and psychological aspects of the human voice. Through Vocal Awareness^® ordinary people lead extraordinary lives, talented actors and singers become the most famous voices of our age, and leaders of our governments, corporations, non-profit institutions and communities throughout the world are able to communicate effectively in every context.
