Elizabeth's Bio
Elizabeth Harmetz, the Director of the Vocal Awareness® Education & Certification Program, is considered a true blend of Vocal Artist and Teacher. Elizabeth is also the director and creative force behind our V.I.P. View Series which provides our V.I.P. Club Members direct access to the transformative power of Vocal Awareness through observing Arthur’s work with students in his private studio. Her life mission has been the integration of masterful technique and beautiful tone with the intimacy and intricacies of authentic emotional expression. A graduate of the San Francisco Conservatory of Music with a Masters in Music in Vocal Performance, Elizabeth is an Opera Specialist, who has also loved musical theater since childhood and performs frequently in both styles.
As a performer, teacher, producer, director and coach, Elizabeth thrives in all aspects of Vocal Performance. Not only do her students benefit from her deep and diverse artistic background, but they also profit from her studies of the human body including Alexander Technique and Somato Respiratory Integration™.
Elizabeth maintains a private Voice Studio for a variety of students from backgrounds such as performance arts, coaches, speakers and business leaders.In addition, she has taught at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in Hollywood, the Los Angeles Trade Tech College and Valencia College in Orlando, Florida. Elizabeth was invited to spearhead the development of Vocal Awareness workshops, seminars, Empowerment sessions, and the new Vocal Awareness Certification Program due to her ongoing years of intense study with Arthur and his recognition of her innate abilities to comprehend, teach and embody the Work.
